B OUR GUEST Bridge
The plaque that was originally used on the wall underneath the B OUR GUEST acknowledging all the participants that took part in the project. The design has incorporated the signatures of many of the participants.
The O was designed from workshop material from participants of the PAPA Youth group in Brixton. Participants also included parents of some of the children that contributed the poetic text to the design giving it a special unique feature.
The B OUR GUEST U was the result of workshops at the Loughborough Adventure Playground. As well as the youth the Play Leaders also contributed to the designs.
The R was from workshops from participants from the Angell Adventure Playground. The organisation had a very strong Art emphasis in it's overall scheme of work which help contrite to the project.
The B OUR GUEST G was the results from the workshops Max Roach Adventure Playground. The Max Roach Adventure Playground has been one of Lambeth's flagship Adventure Playground. The G did create a sense of pride for many of the participants who went on to develop their art practice.
This B OUR GUEST U was from youth from the Tulse Hill Adventure Playground. Some of the older teenagers did a lot of graffiti art and helped direct the younger participants and contributed a 3 D style text of the word ADVENTURE that was incorporated into the design.
The E was designed from workshops at the Windmill One O Clock Club for children aged 0-4. Like the workshops at PAPA the participants were intergenerational with the parent and carers participating. The much iconic Brixton Windmill, where the One O'Clock is situated, ended up being featured in the final design.
The S was developed from workshops the Popular Youth Association. All the participants contributions were featured in the final design.
